Ian Jeffery practised for many years as a specialist Intellectual Property and Technology lawyer before moving into business leadership. He served for five successive terms as Managing Partner and later Chief Executive of Lewis Silkin, a leading specialist law firm.
Achievements in the Managing Partner role at Lewis Silkin leading the growth of the business by over 150%, overseeing international expansion, setting and driving strategic change and contributing to the firm’s national recognition as one of the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to work for, nine times in succession.
Ian has an MBA from London Business School as well as a Masters in Intellectual Property and Technology from Kings College London. He sits on a number of editorial, advisory and judging panels as well as being a regular conference speaker and chair. Away from professional services Ian is a Trustee of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Drawing on his multi-disciplinary background Ian is now working on a number of venture development projects complementary to the core business of Lewis Silkin.
