Ian Jeffery is the Chief Executive (formerly Managing Partner) of Lewis Silkin LLP and has held this role since 2005. He combines skills and experience as a specialist IP/IT lawyer with twelve years’ experience in law firm leadership and an MBA from London Business School. Achievements include leading the growth of the business by over 100% and contributing to its national recognition as one of the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to work for, nine times in succession.
As Chief Executive of Lewis Silkin, Ian has overall responsibility for the strategy of the firm and its range of business activities. As a member of the firm’s Strategy Board and Operations Boards he has direct involvement in shaping the firm’s long term direction and in implementing the programme of projects required to deliver the strategy. Working closely with senior colleagues leading the firm’s finance, operations, technology, marketing and people management functions he is central to all major change initiatives within the firm including the development and introduction of new products and services.
Ian is a committee member of the Managing Partners Forum and regular writer and speaker on management issues. In wider life, he is a Trustee of the Royal College of General Practitioners. In his spare time he enjoys endurance and adventure sports.
